Kazakhstan Triathlon Competitions Calendar 2020 (Age Group)
10 starts are scheduled for the next season, 5 of them are international starts.
The season begins on 11-12 April from Shymkent-Tashkent transnational race held under the auspies of the Kazakhstan Triathlon Federation (KTF) and Central Asian Triathlon Association (CATA). The start participants will face a 1200 m swim in Shymkent, then 120 km cycling ride from Shymkent to Tashkent and 12 km run with the finish in the capital of Uzbekistan.
The first international (!) scale stage of TEMIRADAM Cup will be held in Tashkent, on 2-3 May, running the super spring and sprint distances. The second stage of the Cup will be held on 6-7 June running the sprint distance in Kostanay. The third and one more stage of TEMIRADAM Cup at an international scale will be hosted by Bishkek under the auspies of CATA on 20-21 June. The fourth and fifth stages of the Cup will be held in Borovoy and Pavlodar, on 4-5 June and 25-26 July, respectively. Please, note that at these stages one may select the distances from the sprint to half ironman. Next, on 8-9 August, stage VI of TEMIRADAM Cup will be held in the framework of the national championship in Almaty. On 23 August the most anticipated race in the CIS and Central Asia, Ironman 70.3/140.6 Kazakhstan will be held.
TEMIRADAM 113 Cup final will be traditionally held on the shore of the Caspian in Aktau. The final start of the Kazakhstan season will be 2020 Samarkand ASTC Triathlon Central Asian Championship running the half ironman distance scheduled for 3-4 October in Samarkand.
It should be noted that all ten competitions will be included into the ranking of TEMIRADAM Cup and based on the results of 2020 the top rank athletes will be determined by the age and gender groups. Besides, as part of the planned events, TEMIRADAM Challenge swims, runs and cycling rides will be held along with TEMIR BALA children runs.
